FAQs
Are the photos gone for good?
No. Emptying the bin moves them to Recently Deleted in Photos, where iOS keeps them for 30 days. Before that, everything you bin sits in the strip at the bottom of the deck until you choose to empty it.
Is Zap free?
Yes. Every day you get a free allowance of decisions. Zap+ removes the limit; you can use Zap without it for as long as you like.
Do I need an account?
Yes. You sign in with Apple, and that’s all. There is no password. Apple gives Zap your email address, or a private relay address if you choose Hide My Email.
Does it work offline?
Yes, once you are signed in. Your library is on the device, so swiping, undo and emptying the bin all work with no connection. Signing in for the first time needs a connection, as do purchases and referrals.
What is Zap+?
Zap+ removes the daily limit and unlocks every folder: Screenshots, Videos, Live Photos, Screen Recordings, Bursts, Portrait, Selfies, Slo-mo and Time-lapse. Every safeguard is the same without it. Choose a monthly or yearly plan, a Family plan shared with up to six people through Family Sharing, or Lifetime, which you pay for once. Prices are shown in the App Store in your currency. You cancel a subscription in your iPhone’s Settings, not in Zap.
